CDC Houston acquires luxury multifamily property The Mark at CityPlace Springwoods Village

CDC Houston, a subsidiary of Coventry Development Corp.—the developer of Springwoods Village—has acquired The Mark at CityPlace Springwoods Village, a luxury multifamily property.

According to an April 6 news release, Houston-based Martin Fein Interests Ltd. which purchased the site from CDC Houston in 2014, will continue to be a partner in the property and provide property management services.

"Fein continues to be a wonderful partner at Springwoods Village, sharing our vision for quality in design and construction as well as operational excellence," said Warren Wilson, executive vice president of Coventry Development Corp. in a statement. "We're excited to add this premier property to our portfolio while maintaining the consistency in service that has made The Mark such a desirable residential rental option in the area."

Located at 1600 Springwoods Plaza Drive, Spring, the 268-unit, six-story building first opened in 2017 and features one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments ranging from 572 square feet to 1,599 square feet. Community amenities include a resort-style pool and separate lap pool, a 24-hour strength and cardio center, a university-style library, a large social lounge with billiards and a pet spa, among others.

"We have enjoyed a long-term working relationship with Coventry as a master-planned community developer, and we are very pleased to now be Coventry's partner at The Mark," said Rebecca Luks, vice president of development at Martin Fein Interests Ltd., in a statement.
